Südtiroler Rosenmuskateller DOP
The grape variety Rosenmuskateller, a descendant of the Yellow Muscat, originated in the Balkans and was introduced to South Tyrol from Sicily. This very rare red wine variety is cultivated in this country as South Tyrolean Rose Muscat and produces a sought-after dessert wine, which, however, should only be enjoyed in small quantities due to its fullness and sweetness. The berries are dark blue and small, with an intense muscat flavour.
